The Basic Bingo Card

You'll when a group of people is playing the ever popular bingo game when you see that their table is studded with card games usually called bingo cards. These are cards with pre-printed numbers on them in which the players mark as soon as the numbers are called out by the bingo caller. These cards are made of materials such as paper and other disposable materials good for recycling. The cards are immediately thrown after they have been used in one game round as they become invalid when the game is already over and they shall be thrown immediately.

In some cases, there are some bingo organizers who make use of different kinds of cards in which a player can use the card more than once. They can even use it as long as they luck most especially if they feel that it is a lucky card. These bingo cards are made of hard plastic cardboard. The material of this kind of card is tougher and player needs to have tabs that they will use to mark the numbers. Once the game is over, they remove the removable tabs and use the card all over again.

In addition to this, there are some others who make use of a fingertip card or a shutter. These are hard cards where the plastic shutters are shut off each time a particular number is called out. These bingo cards are designed for multiple uses and to avoid the hassle of using a lot of cards.

In every game, each of the players are given one bingo card only that has a five by five line grid. It consist of 25 squares. Each square has a corresponding number on it except for the one in the middle that is printed with "free" or "bingo". This free number serves as a bonus for the players as they can assign any number that they want. Each column of the card also has an assigned letter that spells out the word B-I-N-G-O . Each letter contains five letters for every 15 number fraction. For example for the letter B, the numbers may be any from 1 to 15, the I column can be any number from 16 to 30. The same sequence applies for the rest of the letters.

A bingo game is not complete without a bingo card. It is the main attraction of the game that makes it more popular. The players are also fascinated when it comes to choosing the card that they want. Other people do have lucky numbers that they hold on to believing that it will bring them good luck.
